Daniell Twyman, LPC
Daniell Twyman, LPC (she/her)
Licensed Professional Counselor – Virginia
Daniell Twyman is a compassionate and experienced licensed professional counselor serving individuals across the lifespan. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, followed by a Master’s in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University in 2018. With over 15 years of experience in mental health including work in group homes and community settings. Daniell brings a deep understanding of diverse client needs. She is also a certified EMDR therapist.
Daniell specializes in supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, and more. Taking a holistic approach, she helps clients address their physical, mental, spiritual, and social well-being. Using evidence-based techniques like solution-focused therapy, CBT, DBT, and EMDR, Daniell guides clients toward healing and achieving meaningful present and future goals.
Known for her empathetic, non-judgmental, and nurturing style, Daniell creates a safe space where clients feel supported throughout their journey. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, volunteering with youth, traveling, and reading.
