Therapist
Daniell Twyman, LPC
Daniell Twyman (she/her) is a licensed professional counselor in Virginia. Daniell received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, her Master‘s in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, and her Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University in 2018. Daniell has a history of working in the mental health field for the past 15+ years. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults in group home and community settings prior to becoming a therapist. Daniell is a trained EMDR therapist working towards certification with EMDRIA.
Daniell works with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, women’s issues, and many other issues. Daniell takes a holistic approach in assisting clients to identify their physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs. She uses solution-focused, CBT, DBT, and other approaches to assist clients with healing themselves and working towards present and future goals.
Daniell is compassionate, understanding, non-judgmental, and empathetic which will allow her to offer clients a safe and nurturing environment to achieve their goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with the youth, traveling, and reading.
